About the Promise Ball
Our Mission
The Love Field American Legion Post 453 is dedicated to supporting our Veterans and Military Families. Through our fundraising efforts, we strive to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who have served our country. There is a promise that resonates deeply within the hearts of all who have served or are serving in the United States Armed Forces: “I will leave no one behind.” This unwavering commitment to support and protect our brothers and sisters in arms extends beyond the battlefield and into our communities.
The promise ball is the fourth charity ball specifically targeted to assist in raising money for the American legion charities, and its programs. The first three balls were held to provide funding for American Legion operation comfort warrior program. This year the ball will benefit the American legion charities which the operation comfort warriors’ program is part of. However by raising money for the American legion charities as a whole, we will be able to reach and touch so many more veterans and military families the American Legion charities program funds programs like the National Emergency Fund, the Child Welfare Foundation The American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund, The Be The One Program, Temporary Financial Assistance Program, Youth Programs, The American Legion Auxiliary Emergency Fund, American Legion Riders Programs, Sons of The American Legion Programs, Poppy Programs, Disaster Relief/Emergency Fund, Veterans VA Advocacy, Community Programs, and of course The Operation Comfort Warriors Program. as well as many more.
This is why we hold this ball and other galas like it to ensure that the veteran is never forgotten or left behind.
The Promise Ball and similar events are essential in our mission to ensure that no veteran is forgotten or left behind. By coming together to support these causes, we reaffirm our commitment to those who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms. It is an opportunity for our community to unite in gratitude and solidarity, making a tangible difference in the lives of military families.
